America’s sweetheart Meg Ryan is headed to television for the new CBS “How I Met Your Mother” spin-off, reports Entertainment Weekly.
Fans won’t be seeing much of the star in “How I Met Your Dad.” Meg will be providing the unseen voice of “future Sally,” a character played by Greta Gerwig in flashbacks. Think Bob Saget voice in “HIMYM.”
Ryan has signed for the pilot, and the series is expected to get picked up for the fall season.
The '80s and '90s romcom star was most recently seen in the hilarious Lisa Kudrow show "Web Therapy" on Showtime.
