The Season 4 finale of AMC's "The Walking Dead" felt a little bit like "Breaking Bad."

That's because Rick Grimes' character -- like Walter White -- is continuing to evolve in some dangerous and unexpected ways. While once a crusader for humanity, Rick is now embracing his savage side.

Case in point… when Rick faces off with the men who have been tracking him, it ends in one of the bloodiest fights the show has ever seen.

The men catch up with Rick, Michonne and Carl while they rest on the train tracks to Terminus after dark. While the ex-sheriff is outnumbered, he won’t let the hoodlums hurt his son.

Daryl, who has been traveling with the gang, realizes the men have captured his friends and he tries to intervene.

An epic fight ensues… ending with Rick going for the leader’s jugular with his teeth! As the old man bleeds out, Rick goes after the pedophile in the group with a knife… and he can't seem to stop stabbing him.

Afterward, Rick -- covered in copious amounts of blood -- sits with Daryl. For once, he openly admits this is who he is now.

The group continues on to Terminus, but it isn't the sanctuary they were hoping for.

Once they sneak inside, the whole set-up seems too good to be true. Rick quickly notices some of the residents wearing items that once belonged to his friends at the prison.

He grabs his gun and begins to demand answers, but the Terminus clan is too smart. They herd Rick, Daryl and the others using gunfire until they are trapped, and forced to enter a train car used as a holding cell.

Once inside, it is the reunion fans have been waiting for; Glenn, Maggie, Bob, Sasha and their new friends are waiting inside.

As the show comes to a close, Rick sets the tone for Season 5 when he tells the others, "They're going to feel pretty stupid when they find out... they're screwing with the wrong people."
