Selena Gomez Breaks Silence After Stint in Rehab
"Spring Breakers" star Selena Gomez spoke for the first time on social media about her stint in rehab in January.
The 21-year-old singer didn't mention rehab, but did post a picture on Instagram of herself on a boat holding what appears to be a glass with purple liquid in it. The caption reads, "I've done everything I could to the best of my ability. Thank you for the unconditional love and cyber hugs. You inspire me."
Gomez recently completed two weeks of a six-week program at Arizona's Dawn at the Meadows center. After leaving the facility, she flew to the Sundance Film Festival to promote "Rudderless" on January 20. The following week, she hit up the Beats Music party and the Stand Up to Cancer benefit in Hollywood.
According to TMZ, Selena entered rehab to seek treatment for marijuana and the prescription drug Ambien.
