Actor/writer Channing Tatum has begun to write the sequel to his semi-autobiographical male stripper movie “Magic Mike” -- and he is wearing the hat to prove it.

Tatum, who voices Superman in this weekend's smash hit “The Lego Movie,” tweeted a picture of himself in an old-school fedora, sitting in front of a bust of Matthew McConaughey’s “Magic” character, Dallas.

“Magic Mike” was a breakout hit for Warner Bros. in 2012, earning $114 million.

The film’s director, Steven Soderbergh, is not expected to return as director, but could be involved as a producer.

Tatum has three films coming up this year, including the sequel “22 Jump Street,” the Wachowski brothers’ sci-fi film “Jupiter Ascending” and the drama “Foxcatcher.”
