The expert selfie taker Kim Kardashian strikes again, this time paying tribute to a person Kim greatly admired -- Elizabeth Taylor.

In the Instagram pic, Kim poses with a white towel on her head and her giant diamond engagement ring from fiancé Kanye West in clear view. In the background is the iconic photograph of Taylor striking the same pose, which was taken by Taylor's childhood friend and co-star, actor Roddy McDowall.

Kardashian captioned the photo “#MyIdol.”

The Hollywood legend was married eight times and amassed a collection of jewelry that auctioned for a record $115 million after her 2011 death. The actress received two famous rings from husband Richard Burton -- the 33-carat Krupp Diamond in 1968, and a 69-carat stunner in 1969 known famously as the Taylor-Burton Diamond.

Kardashian once had the opportunity to interview her idol for Harper's Bazaar and asked Taylor which among three of her famous diamonds rings meant the most. Taylor told her, "Size does matter, but so does the size of the emotion behind it."
