‘Bad News Bears’ Star’s Legacy Lives On
Sammi Girl Productions is premiering their docu-web series, "What I Became -- The Story of Funeral: A Musical" on Monday.

Sammi Kraft was best known as Amanda Whurlitzer in the 2005 remake “Bad News Bears,” also starring Billy Bob Thornton, Greg Kinnear and Marcia Gay Harden. She was also working on getting her degree, and played lead guitar/vocals in her band, Scary Girls, before she was killed in a car accident in 2012.
Her brother, Frankie Kraft, President of Sammi Girl Productions, explained, “The docu-web series follows the story of my sister, Sammi and I, during our first and only collaboration before her untimely passing. From recording demos of all the music to the workshop in January of 2012, we documented the entire process.”
"What I Became” episodes will be released weekly on YouTube and SammiGirlProductions.com every Monday, so be sure to subscribe to our YouTube Channel to watch episodes as they are published right on your feed.
