Actor Michael Douglas talked with “Extra’s” Jerry Penacoli at the premiere of his new film “Last Vegas” in Las Vegas, where Douglas set the record straight about a recent report he was photographed reuniting with wife Catherine Zeta-Jones.
The Oscar winner also discussed why he told the world he had throat cancer and not tongue cancer. “For those who knew of it as a tumor, it could have involved a lot of surgery which would not be very attractive. We chose to announce it as throat cancer, which took the pressure off having people having to fantasize about tongue cancer. If it doesn't work out, you have to have a lot of surgery.” Michael added he was thankful it all worked out.
“Last Vegas” shuffles into theaters November 1st.
