Actress Julianne Hough tackles some tough issues in her new dramedy “Paradise.”

She stars as a conservative young woman who survives a plane crash that burns nearly two-thirds of her body, then suffers a crisis of faith, heading to Las Vegas to learn about sin.

ExtraTV.com spoke with Hough, along with co-star Octavia Spencer and writer/director Diablo Cody about the film’s message.

“Paradise” is now available via On Demand and iTunes, and is in theaters Friday.
