Listen! Miley Cyrus Drops 'Wrecking Ball,' Releases Bangerz Cover Art

The release, a love ballad about fighting to keep the relationship alive, is a change up from her party anthem “We Can’t Stop.” Listen below!

"I came in like a wrecking ball/I never hit so hard in love/All I wanted was to break your wall," Cyrus sings on the track. "All you ever did was break me/Yeah, you wreck me."

When it comes to the cover art, which features Miley in all black next to a neon Bangerz sign, some say it pays homage to Duran Duran’s Rio album or possibly “Miami Vice.”!

Cyrus is set to perform at the MTV VMAs Sunday night, where she’s up for Best Song of the Summer, Best Pop Video and Best Female Video.
