Tameka Foster posted a sweet Instagram photo of her young son as he recovers from a terrifying pool accident earlier this week.
Foster wrote, "My favorite 5-year-old. What a blessing! I have always loved and appreciated my sons but tragedies and close calls make this even more evident."
"I would like to thank my Aunt Rena as well as the doctors and nurses who are working with us around the clock. I would especially like to thank the two men who saved my son's life, Eugene Stachurski and Ben Crews. They are true heroes and I am deeply grateful to them."
Foster also tweeted on Thursday, “Im very happy this morning, my son is resting well... we had a SpongeBob marathon ALLL night, he wouldn't go to sleep! Thank u 4 the prayers.”
Tameka -- who lost primary custody of sons Usher V and Naviyd Ely, 4, last year -- requested an emergency hearing for Friday and filed docs in Atlanta in order to obtain temporary primary custody.
A source close to Foster told People.com, "Now that it's sunk in, she is livid. Usher has custody and won't let Tameka have the kids, even when he's out of town. She feels like the kids are being raised by his family or by nannies, when they should be with their mother."
