The daughter of former New York Yankees Manager Joe Torre came to the rescue of a baby boy who had tumbled off a second-floor fire escape in Brooklyn.

Cristina Torre was sitting at a cupcake shop, saw the child dangling and rushed to help. She described the incident on CNN.

The child escaped serious injury. The parents of the child, Sam Miller, 23, and Tiffany Demitro, 24, were asleep in the second-floor apartment, leaving baby Dillon and his three sisters unattended, sources told NY Daily News.

They were arrested and charged with reckless endangerment and endangering the welfare of a child.
