The skin-tight costume “absolutely” made him train harder for the role of Jor-El, but he admitted, “I really enjoyed wearing it. There’s something kind of cool about that four layers of spandex that just made you feel really powerful and you couldn’t walk anywhere without people just going ‘hmmmm.’”
