When asked if he would stay at “The Tonight Show” when his contract ended, Jay jokingly said, “Will I do it when my contract's up? Well no… when your contract is up… see that’s how it works.”
“Extra” also asked if Jimmy is set to replace him on the show, and he said, “I hope so.”
Jay then had a little fun with the situation by laughing and looking at the camera, while pretending to answer by just mouthing words.
