Wedding News: Clint Eastwood’s Daughter Ties the Knot
Producer and director Alison Eastwood, daughter of Clint Eastwood and first wife Maggie Johnson, tied the knot with Stacy Poitras in an intimate wedding ceremony in Calabasas, CA on Friday night.
The nuptials were a family affair at Saddlepeak Lodge with Clint, wife Dina, and Alison's siblings, Kyle, Scott and Kathryn in attendance.
“We are thrilled to be surrounded by our family for this very special day and appreciate their love and support as we begin our married life together,” the couple told People.
According to the mag, the bride walked down the aisle in a 1930s-inspired beaded gown by Les Habitudes (see the photo) and the rings were designed by Philip Press.
Poitras, the star of Country Music TV's “Chainsaw Gang,” told Westlake magazine that he asked Clint for Alison's hand in marriage.
“He looked at me for four or five seconds, which felt like 15 minutes, and then he said, 'You're going to have to take that up with her,'” Poitras explained. “I said, 'Is that a yes or a no?' And he said, 'That's a yes,' and he shook my hand.”
Alison, 40, gushed about Poitras to the mag, saying, “He's my best friend. He's the first man who has been the closest person to me.”
