Jesse Heiman, the 34-year-old star of the ad, has gained notice since the commercial aired during the big game, and sources tell “Extra” he is even being pursued for a starring sitcom deal.
Here are some fun facts about Heiman:
-- He was born in Boston but attended middle, high school and college in Texas. After graduating from Texas State University in 2000, Jesse surprised friends with a move to Los Angeles to embark on an acting career.
-- When he moved to L.A., Jesse's parents made him get a real job before he started acting. His first job was working at a video duplication company. He was so bored he began signing up for extra work.
-- Heiman has been in over 150 movies and TV shows. He was the subject of a video called "World's Greatest Extra.” Take a look!
When recently asked about his dream role, Heiman told Time’s Newsfeed.com, “My ideal role would be if they ever remade ‘Smokey and the Bandit,’ I’d love to play Smokey, the Jackie Gleason role. That, or if they ever made an updated version of ‘Planes, Trains and Automobiles,’ I’d love that. Anything that John Candy or Chris Farley would have been cast in, I’d love to get those type of roles. I’d love to not just be a character actor, but like, say, Kevin James, get the leading roles as well. And after all this [work], there’s no reason I can’t do anything in this town."
