Prince Harry got wet and wild Monday night in Las Vegas. The red-haired royal enjoyed a late night pool party at the Wynn hotel, surrounded by dozens of bikini-clad beauties -- and even challenged Olympic champ Ryan Lochte to a race!

According to the New York Daily News (see video), patrons at the XS Nightclub pool watched as the prince jumped into the water around 3:00 AM, jeans and all, to find Lochte and challenged him to a swim-off. The royal was clearly in over his head when the breaststroke battle began. The gold medalist left Harry in his wake, easily taking the lead.

Afterward, Lochte and Harry hugged, and Ryan raised his arms in victory. The win was just icing on the cake for Lochte who was in town celebrating his 28th birthday.

This isn’t Harry’s first race against an Olympic athlete. He tried to out-run Usain Bolt at the University of the West Indies earlier this year.

"Extra" caught Prince Harry on tape in Sin City over the weekend, hanging poolside at the MGM Grand's Wet Republic. Check it out!
