“It’s kinda like you build a house, you hire a guy to put a roof on it, he comes over and eats lunch and talks about the roof, then you get rained on all night,” Gibson said, taking a shot at Eszterhas, with whom he'd teamed up to make the movie "The Maccabees."
While discussing the project, Eszterhas's son reportedly recorded an argument featuring the potty-mouthed Gibson, which Joe leaked online months later.
The 56-year-old "Braveheart" star continued about the incident, “When you get me here and tape me, you let me know up front.”
This audio follows the 2010 recording of Mel threatening to kill his ex Oksana Grigorieva.
Gibson's newest action film, “Get the Gringo,” debuts on DirecTV Tuesday, May 1.
Actor Mel Gibson appeared on Jay Leno's "Tonight Show" Friday where he told the comedian of his latest hate-fueled audio clip leaked online by screenwriter Joe Eszterhas.
