Judge Carrie Ann Inaba thought the kiss was a bit too much. She said, "Dance is about the illusion of passion. Don't go at it in front of everyone!" Despite the criticism, the pair scored a respectable 27 points.
Melissa Gilbert, recovering from last week's concussion and mild whiplash, spent part of rehearsal in a neck brace but managed to salsa nicely with partner Maks Chmerkovskiy, earning 21 points.
Katherine Jenkins and Mark Ballas danced the Argentine tango and almost scored a perfect 30, as did William Levy and Cheryl Burke; they tied at the top of the leaderboard with 29 points each.
Here's how they all stacked up:
Katherine Jenkins & Mark Ballas: 29
