Donald Trump Defends His Sons' Safari Kills
"Extra" caught up with real estate mogul Donald Trump in the Big Apple, getting his take on today's hot topics, including his own sons being blasted for a recent hunting trip in Africa.
Donald Jr. and Eric Trump participated in a safari hunt, and graphic photos from the trip went viral on the Internet, causing a backlash from animal rights activists, who called the men "bloodthirsty."
In their defense, Donald Sr. said, "They're expert hunters. I know they've given the meat and whatever they've hunted to the local tribes."
Does Trump like to hunt? "I've never been a fan of it, no."
On "Mad Men" star Jon Hamm's comments about celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton being "idiots," Trump sided with the girls. "If that celebrity sells, there is no reason why they shouldn't be using their celebrity to make money. And they've done it, and they've done it very well, and I say my hat's off to both of them."
The Donald also weighed in on Nicollette Sheridan's wrongful termination lawsuit against "Desperate Housewives" creator Marc Cherry. "The show saved her career. She was going nowhere and for her to be suing for millions of dollars on some made up charges, I just think is ridiculous."
