Pat Sajak, host of long-running game show, "Wheel of Fortune," recently admitted on an ESPN show that he has been intoxicated while working on the show. Sajak told Dan Le Batard of "Dan Le Batard Is Highly Questionable," that he and Vanna White would have a few drinks, or more, during their break.
Sajak, 65, recalled he drank "when I first started and was much younger and could tolerate things. We had a different show then."
In the show's early format, Sajak and White were given a two-and-a-half hour dinner break, and the two would visit a nearby Mexican restaurant for margaritas. "Vanna and I would... have two or three or six and then come and do the last shows and have trouble recognizing the alphabet," Pat revealed.
He added, "I had a great time. I have no idea if the shows were any good, but no one said anything, so I guess I did okay."
The host said he no longer sips margaritas during his breaks, but believes the older shows would be fun to watch. "They're really great tapes to get a hold of."
