Rob Lowe Directs 'Butterfinger the 13th'
Handsome actor-turned-director Rob Lowe recently sat down with "Extra" correspondent Terri Seymour to talk about his new slasher-comedy short, "Butterfinger the 13th."
The project, the first of its kind, was produced by candy company Butterfinger. The 25-minute film, already getting tons of buzz on Facebook, even has a catchy tagline, "You can't scream with your mouth full."
When asked if his kids had seen the film, Lowe replied, "I'm a firm believer in not letting my boys see anything until it's done, because they're going to make fun of me anyway." He added, "I think that's what teenage boys do to their dads, it's sort of their national pastime."
The "Parks and Recreations" star also talked about longtime pal Charlie Sheen, saying, "We got to connect [at the Emmys]... you know, I love him to death, and my bet, Charlie is one of those people that always, always pulls himself up."
You can catch Rob as an accused wife killer in the upcoming murder biopic, "The Drew Peterson Story," on Lifetime.
