Jon Cryer on Charlie's Roast: 'I Don't Like Roasts'
"Extra" host Mario Lopez caught up with actor Jon Cryer on the 2011 Emmys Red Carpet and asked if Cryer will watch the Comedy Central roast of his former "Two and a Half Men" co-star, Charlie Sheen.
"I'm not going to watch the roast because they are mean. I don't like roasts and I certainly don't like roasts of people I like," said Cryer. "So it's not really going to be something that I'm going to enjoy."
As for working with Ashton Kutcher on the new season of "Men," Cryer replied, "He makes it easy. He has enormous confidence and a great comedic take on things. He missed doing this for a long time," jokingly adding, "It's tough doing A-list features; you got to come down and do your sitcoms."
Lopez also congratulated Cryer on his Walk of Fame star. "Thank you, it is so surreal. I actually managed to somehow trick Carl Reiner into giving my induction speech, which is nuts."
"Two and a Half Men" premieres Monday on CBS.
