Eva Longoria on 'Housewives' Rumor and Her New Docu
Actress Eva Longoria wants to set the record straight on the pesky rumor her hit ABC show "Desperate Housewives" is heading into its final season this fall.
"We're signed for two more years, so we're safe," Longoria confirmed to "Extra" correspondent Renee Bargh at a special screening of her documentary "The Harvest."
In fact, Longoria's character, Gabrielle Solis, is turning into a man-hungry pole dancer this season. "It's really hard and I had bruises everywhere," she laughed about the dancing. "It's a very dangerous sport." Will pole dancing become her new form of exercise? "Oh God, no. It's too hard. I gotta install a pole. It's too much."
On a more serious note, Longoria has been lobbying for children migrant works, producing the hard-hitting documentary, which follows three migrant boys as they work 14-hour days in U.S. fields along the Mexican border.
The actress explained, "And it's legal. The laws haven't changed."
