"Glee" star Jane Lynch will return to host the star-studded "Do Something Awards" telecast on VH1 for the second year in a row. Go Sue Sylvester!
The awards recognize young world-changers, 25 and under, who are pivotal "do-ers" in their fields, causes or issues. "Social change is about breaking down barriers. These kids are like rock stars, but without guitars or leather pants," said Nancy Lublin, CEO and Chief Old Person at DoSomething.org. "Jane Lynch is a bad ass, which is why we love her."
The Do Something Awards will tape at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles and will air Thursday, August 18, at 9:00 PM on VH1. For more information, go to DoSomething.org.
