Motley Crue bass player Nikki Sixx stopped by The Grove to talk about his latest New York Times Best Seller, "This is Gonna Hurt," about music, photography, and his kids.

Sixx, who nearly died 20 years ago from a heroin overdose, says, "It did change my life forever and taught me to be more positive."

Twice married, the rocker dedicated one chapter to famous tattoo artist, Kat Von D. "Me and Kat were together during the making of that book, so that sort of section was an important part of the story," Nikki revealed.

As for his current dating situation, Sixx says he is happily with someone and "she is very sweet and that's what I'm looking for in my life."

Nikki and the boys of Motley Crue will tour this summer... check out their complete tour dates!
