Snooki and JWoww to Spin Off from 'Jersey Shore'

MTV announced Thursday that "Jersey Shore" stars Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and best friend Jenni "JWoww" Farley will be getting their own show in 2012.

The show will look at what life, love and friendship is like away from Seaside Heights for the inseparable duo.

"It's pretty much just the concept of me and Jenni being on our own without our roommates," Snooki told MTV News recently. Watch the press conference!

Fellow "Shore" castmember DJ Pauly D is also doing a spin-off show for MTV. The cameras will follow him as he continues to pursue his dream of becoming one of the most successful and recognized DJs in the music business.

"The 'Jersey Shore' cast is at the center of the show's ongoing success, and Nicole, Pauly D and Jenni have become household names as a result of their unique, sometimes outrageous and often hilarious personalities," said Chris Linn, MTV Executive Vice President of Programming and Head of Production.

Both untitled series will be 12 episodes, with production beginning later this year.
