It's true Ashley Hebert didn't capture "The Bachelor" Brad Womack's heart, but now she gets a second chance at love as the new "Bachelorette," revealed on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Tuesday.
Hebert, a natural brunette, spoke to "Extra" before the season finale. "Blonde didn't suit me, my personality. I didn't like how I looked."
After the announcement, the new "Bachelorette" exclaimed to Kimmel, "I'm feeling strong and confident and I'm ready to go! I'm ready to move forward in my new life."
The energetic and vivacious Hebert, 26, who currently resides in Philadelphia, where she is finishing her degree in dentistry, will meet her new suitors when Season 7 of "The Bachelorette" premieres Monday, May 23 on ABC.
"The Bachelorette" will move to its regularly scheduled timeslot, Mondays at 8:00 PM on May 30.
