Kathy Griffin Tells 'Extra' She Wants a Tony
"Extra's" AJ Calloway and comedian Kathy Griffin shared many laughs while she unleashed her raw attitude. Targeting fellow celebrities, Griffin asserted, "Not only do I cross the line, I move it, then I cross it."
Kathy's new show is taking over Broadway and is openly titled, "Kathy Griffin Wants a Tony." She quipped, "I would actually prefer a guy named Tony, but I'll take the statue."
The comic shared her thoughts on Charlie Sheen's goddesses, telling AJ, "It seems like a really sweet gig." Griffin also recalled Christina Aguilera's stumble at the Grammys and added, "Anytime a celebrity falls down is fun."
Kathy's show opens Friday, March 11 at the Belasco Theatre, and her Bravo special is bluntly dubbed, "Kathy Griffin, 50 and Not Pregnant," will air March 17.
