Simon Cowell on 'X Factor' Auditions, Judges, and Facebook Voting
"Extra's" Terri Seymour caught up with Simon Cowell about gearing up for "X Factor" auditions. "I am excited now, and I haven't felt this in a while," Cowell beamed.
Cowell revealed the show will use Facebook as a platform for viewers to vote. When asked if he personally uses the site, he replied, "And I try to reply to every single one, but it's 23 million friends, it's a lot."
Simon tells Terri he still hasn't made a decision on the judges yet, but rumor has it Jessica Simpson and record label exec Tommy Mottola are two of the frontrunners -- and Simon does admit that he'd "love to have somebody on the panel who has made people into megastars."
Terri asked about the Sheen situation, and Simon advised him, "Lighten up. Stop feeling sorry for yourself. Hanging with porn girls. That's a high class problem."
