Supermodel Cindy Crawford stopped by The Grove to chat with "Extra's" Mario Lopez about skin care tips, staying happily married -- and double-dating with pals George Clooney and Elisabetta Canalis.
Lopez asked Crawford if she thinks Clooney is ready to settle down. "Oh, I would never, ever try to predict George's love life," she laughed. "Elisabetta's great. He's great. Whatever happens, happens."
As for her own marriage, the 44-year-old mom of two said after 12 years, she and hubby Rande Gerber are still going strong. How do they keep the passion fresh? "We really remember that we like each other, that we are friends and take time for each other. It sounds easy, and we don't have Wednesday night as date night, but we take time to be a couple."
One of Cindy's favorite topics is skin care. She's created her own line of skin care products called "Meaningful Beauty," and she wanted to dispel some of the biggest skin care myths.
"One is that it has to cost a lot of money," she explained. "I think a lot of times what you're paying for is packaging and advertising," adding, "The secret is there are no secrets. We all know we need to get enough sleep, drink water, exercise. Same with skin care, you do need a sunscreen that's why in my Meaningful Beauty day cream, there's sunscreen. Need to use sunscreen every day."
If you are in the Los Angeles area, Thursday, Oct. 28, Crawford is making an in-store appearance at the Glendale Galleria from 6:00-7:00 PM. She will be giving skin care tips at Sephora inside JCPenney. Guests will be able to sample and learn more about her groundbreaking skincare line.
