'Will & Grace'

On September 29, 2005 "Will & Grace's" season premiere episode, "Alive and Schticking," aired live on NBC. The episode was performed twice by the cast for the east and west coasts. Alec Baldwin, who guest-starred, received an Emmy nomination for his performance.

'ER'

"ER's" season four premiere episode, "Ambush," aired live on September 25, 1997. The script was performed twice; once for the east coast and again for the west. Watch the clip!

'The West Wing'

In the final season of "The West Wing," NBC aired its fictional debate like a real presidential debate. The episode aired November 6, 2005, live for each coast. Only the west coast version can be found on the season seven DVD.

'Gimme a Break!'

On March 2, 1985, the NBC sitcom starring Nell Carter performed the episode "Cat Story" without a hitch.
