'DWTS' Sends Another One Home
Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino is heading back to the Jersey shore. He and partner Karina Smirnoff didn't make the cut this week on "Dancing with the Stars."
The week's theme was one of sensuality and romance, as the contestants danced the tango and rumba on a new circular stage, which provided some challenges for them.
Finally showing off his trademark abs, The Situation tried his hand at the Argentine tango to a rendition of the Eurythmics' "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)," but was shaking and stiff from start to finish.
Judge Bruno Tonoili called it "a terrible mess," while Len Goodman said it was consistent... consistently bad, that is. Carrie Ann Inaba added the one bright note, saying she thought The Sitch had really improved. Still, they awarded the duo 26 of 60, for the lowest score of the night.
"That's definitely a situation," the Situation declared.
Other highlights of the night included the first "10s" of the season for leaderboard topper Jennifer Grey, a bump and grind from Florence Henderson and Bristol Palin in fishnet stockings, while her parents, Sarah and Todd Palin, sat in the audience.
