According to a police report obtained by "Extra," Paris Hilton will be charged with possession of a controlled substance, following her arrest for possession of .8 gram of cocaine on Friday night in Las Vegas.
An officer claims he stopped an Escalade, driven by Hilton's boyfriend Cy Waits, when he smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle.
After a crowd of people gathered to get a peek at the heiress, she said she was "extremely embarrassed" and asked to use the restroom at the Wynn Hotel to get out of the public eye. It was there the police officer saw the cocaine in her purse.
"As she began to open it, I saw a small bindle of what I believed to be cocaine in a clear baggie begin to fall from the purse and into my hand," the officer wrote in the report.
He also says that there was Albuterol (an asthma medication) in Paris' purse that she admitted was hers, but said the cocaine was not. Paris claimed she borrowed the purse from a friend and hadn't noticed the coke.
If Paris is convicted of the cocaine possession felony, she would likely receive probation; a violation of that probation could land her in a Nevada state prison for one to four years.
