Aniston Switched Salons Before Credit Card Scam
Jennifer Aniston appeared on "Good Morning America" Thursday to promote her new film, "The Switch," but first talked about being one of the A-list stars reportedly scammed by Beverly Hills salon owner, Maria Gabriela Perez, who was arrested Wednesday for allegedly billing false charges to the credit cards of her famous clientele.
Aniston stopped going to Perez five years ago because "We had a situation that was not cool, so I just stopped going to her. I knew something like this would eventually happen, because there's no way you can get away with that. It's terrible."
The salon owner's celebrity clients include Halle Berry, Cher, Melanie Griffith, Anne Hathaway and Liv Tyler. According to an affidavit, Perez is alleged to have scammed $214,000 from Tyler alone.
