Kim Kardashian: 'I'm Totally Fine on My Own'
In the September issue of Allure magazine, reality star and mogul Kim Kardashian opens up about being single, her infamous sex tape and her dedication to hard work.
Kim, who recently split with longtime beau Reggie Bush, says she's enjoying her freedom at the moment. "The challenges of dating, gosh, who would ever want to deal with a hectic schedule and not really [getting] to see someone that often? That's the reality of my life right now, that I don't have a lot of time," she said about her love life. "You know, it's tough, but I'm totally fine on my own. I've always been in a relationship. So it's kind of refreshing to just do me 100 percent and not worry about, 'Do I have to call this person when I get home?'"
Before Reggie, Kim had another relationship play out in the media with ex-boyfriend Ray J. Following their split in 2007, a sex tape of the pair became a bestseller.
"Not my most proud moment," she told the magazine. "It was humiliating. But now let's move on. Not that I don't think it's [no one's] business, but I think I've done a good job of replacing negative things with positive things."
The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star has shifted her focus to her work. She said that when she's not working she feels "lazy," adding, "I learned all my business sense from my dad (the late O.J. Simpson attorney Robert Kardashian). He always believed in me, and I think the last thing he said to me before he passed away was, 'I know you're gonna be okay. I'm not worried about you.'"
