QVC Launches National Makeover Day
It's never too late for new beginnings, and that's why QVC is declaring May 20th National Makeover Day.
To celebrate, QVC will be giving personal life makeovers to six deserving women from Dress for Success, an international non-profit organization dedicated to helping disadvantaged women achieve economic independence.
The women will receive a beauty makeover from Bobbi Brown, a financial makeover from Suze Orman, hair transformation from Chaz Dean and a fashion makeover from Bradley Bayou and Gretta Monahan.
On Thursday, the network will be revealing the transformations, with the experts sharing how viewers can achieve similar results.
"We wanted to create a day devoted to helping women create positive change in their lives. It's not just about changing your look -- it's about changing your outlook," said Claire Watts, QVC's President of U.S. Commerce. "We are thrilled to join forces with our vendor community to raise awareness for Dress for Success. Over the years, the organization has impacted the lives of so many women. We're honored we can play a part in helping them to continue these important transformations."
