Matt Damon, Almost Star of 'Avatar'
"Extra's" Lauren Sanchez caught up with Matt Damon this past weekend as he was honored with an American Cinematheque Award.
Matt dished to Lauren about turning down the lead role in one of Hollywood's biggest blockbusters of all time, plus his excitement about seeing Tiger Woods play, and possibly working with his buddy Ben Affleck again.
"The biggest role I probably turned down was 'Avatar'," Damon lamented. "I turned that down because of scheduling reasons."
Being a golf fan, Matt also told Lauren he couldn't wait for Tiger's return to the course. "I watch golf because of Tiger Woods... what people do in their personal life as far as I'm concerned is their business... and I'll be watching the Masters this weekend... and I hope he wins."
