Kara Wants 'Chemistry' With Ellen on 'Idol'
Kara DioGuardi wants to get to know Ellen DeGeneres before the talk show host joins the panel of judges on "American Idol."
At the Media and Money Conference in New York, DioGuardi said she plans on spending time with DeGeneres in December, before season 9 of "Idol" premieres in January.
"I'm hoping the chemistry with Ellen will be great -- and a great start to the season," she said.
Following the announcement of DeGeneres on "Idol," fellow judge Randy Jackson told "Extra" he's pumped to have her on board. "It's going go be fun. We're gonna rock the house every night," he confirmed.
