Jackson Flick Gets Two-Week Run
The movie about Michael Jackson's final months will run in theaters for only two weeks.
"This Is It" will feature footage from Jackson's ill-fated London comeback concert rehearsals. Jackson died on June 25 before the kickoff of his series of shows at London's O2 Arena.
"Audiences will be given a privileged and private look at the singer, dancer, filmmaker, architect and genius as he creates and perfects his final show," Sony Pictures says.
Select sequences will be in 3-D and the film also feature interviews with some of Jackson's friends and collaborators.
Tickets for "This Is It" go on sale Sept. 27 and the film opens worldwide Oct. 28.
