Pitt Quit Toking for His Kids
Brad Pitt recently admitted that he used to smoke marijuana, but quit once he became a father.
During an interview with Bill Maher in which the "Real Time" host congratulated Brad on his "stoner role" in 1993's "True Romance," Brad admitted that he used to get high. "I certainly had my day," Pitt confessed.
Maher also recounts a New Year's Ever party where Brad rolled "the most perfect" joints he had ever seen, to which Pitt replied jokingly, "I'm an artist."
The "Inglourious Basterds" star said he quit for the sake of his kids -- Maddox, 7, Pax, 5, Zahara, 4, Shiloh, 3, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 1. "I'm a dad now. You want to be alert and my eyes used to glaze over when I did that."
Pitt also recently joked to Ann Curry about running for the mayor of New Orleans on a pot-legalization platform. "I don't have a chance," Pitt told Curry. "I'm running on the gay marriage, no religion, legalization and taxation of marijuana platform."
