Reality star Jon Gosselin has admitted that police made Kate leave their home after the exes got into it about Jon's babysitter, Stephanie Santoro.
Jon said of Kate, "She tried to come home yesterday, and I wouldn't let her in the gate and I guess she called the police," as reported by Us Weekly via Splash News. "The police came and said it was a civil matter."
Gosselin explained, "An officer pulled me aside and I said, 'This has never happened before and I'm just trying to spend time with my kids and she's [Kate] gonna have to leave."
Jon claims that Kate tried to "cry it up" for the cops, but they made her leave anyway. "It was a miscommunication. Kate said she was coming home, and I said, 'Well, it's my time to spend with the kids,'" Jon goes on. "I don't come home when she's with the kids, and vice versa -- and that's how it's supposed to be."
"I guess she didn't agree with my babysitting," Jon says of Kate, who reportedly disapproved of Santoro watching the children. Santoro is reportedly in a romantic relationship with Jon. "I have no idea," Jon admitted after paps asked him why Kate didn't approve of Stephanie. "I guess 'cause she didn't have approval."
