Dethroned beauty queen Carrie Prejean is taking action to clear her name!
Lawyers for the former Miss California USA have written a letter to the pageant organization, claiming that Carrie was wrongfully terminated, and unless they "retract the defamatory statements" made about her, she'll sue! View the letter here.
In the letter obtained by "Extra," Prejean claims to have never had a book deal, and says she did not make unauthorized public appearances or "refuse reasonable public appearance opportunities." The letter states that if the Miss California USA organization doesn't retract their accusations, she will take legal action against them.
The organization says Prejean lost her title after she didn't fulfill contractual obligations.
