Jimmy Fallon, the Graduate!
This is no laughing matter -- funny man Jimmy Fallon has officially earned his Bachelor's degree!
The comedian received his B.A. in Communications from the College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY. On Saturday, Fallon joined his fellow 1,800 students in a cap and gown to receive a diploma during the commencement ceremony. According to People magazine, the comedian also served as a keynote speaker to his class.
"There's always going to be someone out there like that movie critic, who doesn't believe in you or who thinks your head is too big or you're not smart enough," Fallon told the graduates. "But those are the people you need to ignore, and those are the times you need to just keep doing what you love doing."
The "Late Night" host began attending St. Rose in 1992, and quit in 1995 with just a semester left to move to Los Angeles and pursue a career in comedy.
Jimmy presented college officials a portfolio of his work on TV and film that illustrated he had learned and fulfilled the college's core curriculum through his real-life experience, which satisfied remaining credits -- and allowed him to graduate.
