Slumdog: Like a 'Million' Bucks!
Sleeper hit "Slumdog Millionaire" has taken top honors at the SAG Awards -- Outstanding Ensemble in a Motion Picture!
The cast and crew of the Mumbai-based flick beat out A-list contenders "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button," "Doubt," "Frost/Nixon," and "Milk" for the night's largest honor.
Other notable winners in the film categories include Best Actor Sean Penn, and Best Actress Meryl Streep. "30 Rock" swept in the television categories, winning Outstanding Ensemble as well as Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey winning Best Actor and Actress, respectively. "Mad Men" took the Outstanding Ensemble for a dramatic series, while Hugh Laurie and Sally Field were recognized a Best Actor and Actress in a drama series.
