Jessica Simpson: 'I'm a Good Girlfriend'
Jessica's big day on "Good Morning America" got off to a rocky start. First, she lost an earring in mid-performance. Then, technical difficulties prompted a do-over, but starting over is what the new Jessica is all about.
A revealing Jessica opened up to "Extra" on the tabloid frenzy over her relationship with her family -- and the men in her life, saying, "I think it's important for people to know I'm human ... I'm a good person, with a good heart. I'm a good sister, I'm a good daughter, I'm a good girlfriend."
The Texas native has gone back to her roots (country) for her new album. "Do You Know" hits stores today and features a song for Dallas Cowboy QB BF Tony Romo. "'You Are My Sunday' is about Tony. He is a place of rest in my life."
Jessica revealed that some tracks on the album are about past loves, and says she has washed the exes out of her life, telling People magazine she even changed her cell number and e-mail address to keep them away. Recording and writing "Do You Know" helped the blonde get bubbly again. "I'm in such a good place, and I really want people to know that."
And she found her earring.
