Pete on Being a Pop
Dad-to-be Pete Wentz opened up about impending fatherhood -- as wife Ashlee showed off her growing baby bump -- at the joint celebration honoring the opening of his Chicago bar, Angels & Kings -- and the Fall Out Boy's 29th birthday, reports People magazine.
During the celebration, Wentz opened up about preparing for fatherhood, saying, "I've been reading books and watching my dad." The crooner must have taken good notes, because he's been pampering his pregnant wife. "Oh yeah, I do the whole nine, anything to keep her comfortable... massages, the works," said Pete.
Ashlee also prepared a birthday slideshow for Pete, and then a giant cake was wheeled out in the shape of a bulldog, like their dog Hemingway (their ring bearer at the wedding).
