Backstage Secrets from the Grammys
It was a red-hot show last night as Amy Winehouse and Kanye West cleaned up with nine Grammy Awards, and show-stopping performances rocked the stage for music's biggest night.
A proud Alicia Keys went backstage with “Extra's” own A.J. Calloway to talk about her eleven Grammy wins over the years.
“You are a superwoman,” A.J told her. “Yes I am,” Alicia sang back, grinning from ear to ear.
Keys opened up the night singing with the legendary Frank Sinatra, whose performance was synthesized on a big screen. She later jammed with John Legend to her Grammy-winning hit, “No One.”
Cher was another music legend who was all smiles backstage, still reeling from her candid interview with Gene Simmons on last Friday's “Extra.” Her appearance was one of the Awards' many show-stoppers, but she stayed humble about her talents.
“I first started singing when Lincoln was president," she quippped.
When being asked the secret to maintaining her age-defying looks, Cher joked, “I don't know, because I'm a witch who sold my soul to the devil?”
