Renée Zellweger Defends Britney Spears
“Extra's” AJ Calloway went one-on-one with Renée Zellweger, who was out promoting her upcoming film, "Bee Movie."
Zellweger admits that rumors she left Los Angeles because of the paparazzi are true. She says, “It is completely true…it is hard to imagine… a rare experience to have to get chased around by 20 people that you've never met before.” She continues, “I'll never be okay with that, with what you do for the day being for sale because someone else decided!”
On her decision to relocate to New York, she adds, “Rather than live it and not be content, I'll just go and if it comes here, I'll just keep going.”
As for Britney and Paris and the paparazzi they deal with on a constant basis, Zellweger believes, “They didn't just run into Britney that day. They hunted her down. It's quite an extraordinary existence. I defy anyone to keep it all together under those circumstances.”
Zellweger comments, “Just because the light is red, they don't stop… there's no protection for a person just trying to live their life.”
