Hit-and-Run Charges Dropped Against Brit
Britney Spears' misdemeanor hit-and-run charge has been dismissed in court.
Her lawyer appeared in a Van Nuys, Calif. courtroom today for Britney, who didn't show. She pleaded guilty to another charge of driving without a valid California driver's license.
The woman who owns the car that Britney hit Aug. 6 in a parking lot has been compensated for the damages. Brit paid the woman around $1,000.
Brit will have to appear in court Nov. 26 to face the license issue. Her lawyer says L.A. City Attorneys are seeking a probation term and fine for Brit.
