'Sex and the City' Star Evan Handler Shoots Down Hiccup Rumors
A published report said production on the “Sex and the City” movie was halted in New York this week because co-star Evan Handler couldn't stop hiccupping.
But “Extra” caught up with the star as he raised money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in NYC, and he told us the rumors simply aren't true.
“My hiccup thing is a scam!” he blasted. “I had some hiccups the other day, but pretty much everything else in that article was invented.”
Evan's co-star, Cynthia Nixon, was also on hand to raise money for the foundation, and she divulged some "Sex" secrets to "Extra."
She revealed that the filmmakers have a secret weapon to keep gawkers and paparazzi from disturbing the scene: a crewmember with a bullhorn, and she's not afraid to use it!
New Yorkers are now calling her "Bullhorn Betty” because she'll shoo away onlookers with her booming voice.
As Cynthia explained, "She is our bulldog, bullhorn protector!"
